This Refund & Returns Policy outlines your rights under UK law and the terms on which Kings Dry Cleaners (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides refunds or replacements.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Services Provided
Our primary service is professional dry cleaning and garment care. Because we provide a Kings dry cleaning service rather than off-the-shelf goods, different rules apply compared with standard retail purchases.
2. Statutory Rights
- If we fail to provide the service with reasonable care and skill, you are entitled to ask us to re-clean the item at no extra charge or, if this is not possible, to request a price reduction or refund.
- If an item is damaged due to our negligence, we will reimburse the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the garment.
3. Change-of-Mind & Cancellations
- Once cleaning has started on your garment, you cannot cancel simply because you have changed your mind.
- If you wish to cancel before work begins, contact us immediately at kingsdrycleaners0@gmail.com. If we have not started cleaning, we will cancel your order and refund any payment in full.
4. Claims & Time Limits
- Please inspect your garments at the time of collection.
- Any concerns or claims for damage, loss or unsatisfactory cleaning must be reported to us within 48 hours of collection/delivery and before the garment is worn again.
- We may request the original receipt or proof of order and the garment for inspection.
5. Exclusions & Limitations
- We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage or weaknesses in fabric, buttons or trims.
- Fading, colour loss or shrinkage where care labels have been followed.
- Minor issues inherent in the cleaning process (for example, loosening of threads) where care instructions were adhered to.
- Our liability is limited to the reasonable value of the garment, taking into account its age and condition.
6. Refund Method
- Approved refunds will be made to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days of confirmation.
- We do not offer cash refunds for card payments.
7. Gift Vouchers & Special Offers
- Gift vouchers, coupons and promotional discounts are non-refundable and have no cash value.
